About the project: Spreadshirt is a company that allows users to create and sell custom printed t-shirts and other merchandise. The goal of this project was to create a new design vision for the Spreadshirt website, with a focus on improving the user experience for GenZ users. Goals and objectives: - User Rearch: example of hypotheses based Persona for GenZ - Short Competitor Analyses - A Look & Feel Moodboard of the new Design Vision - Mobile UX/UI Vision for an optimized Homepage and main Navigation - Mobile UX/UI Vision for an optimized Customizer Tool Background: The original Spreadshirt website was visually outdated and difficult to navigate, especially on mobile devices. It was also not very effective at showcasing the wide selection of user-created designs. Challenges - The main challenges of this project were to create a new design vision for the Spreadshirt website that was: - Visually appealing and modern - Easy to navigate on mobile - Effective at showcasing the wide selection of user-created designs - Tailored to the needs and preferences of GenZ users User research Persona hypothesis for GenZ: - GenZ users are digital natives who are used to a fast-paced and visually appealing user experience. - They are also socially conscious and value brands that are authentic and inclusive. Based on the user personas for GenZ users, I identified the following problems: - The design was outdated and not visually appealing. - It was difficult to find the products that users were looking for. - The website was not very user-friendly on mobile devices. - The website did not do a good job of showcasing the wide selection of user-created designs.

Design solution The design for the new mobile version focused on the following key areas: - Visual design: The new website has a modern and visually appealing design that is tailored to the needs of GenZ users. - Navigation: The new website has a simple and easy-to-use navigation system that makes it easy for users to find the products they are looking for. - Mobile experience: The new website is designed to be mobile-first, with a focus on a user-friendly experience on all devices. - Product discovery: The new website showcases the wide selection of user-created designs in a variety of ways, including through featured collections, curated suggestions, and personalized recommendations. - A real-time preview of the customized product Execution: The new Spreadshirt website was developed using a responsive design approach so that it would look good and function well on all devices. The redesigned tool streamlined the product creation process, making it easier and faster for users to create their desired designs. It also improved the organization and filtering of design elements, enhanced the preview functionality, and increased customer satisfaction. Overall, the case study suggests that the redesigned Spreadshirt customizer tool may significantly improve the usability and user experience for customers.
